Why not just order brain for manual rockauto has them autozone has them Oreilly's has them.
You need to find another shop or get the truck back and fix it yourself.

I would ask them why they say it the computer.
Its sounds like either the alternator or the voltage regulator.
If it the regulator, which is in the computer, their blaming then bypass it as stated in post #7.
It's alot cheaper then computer.
Go get your truck, jump start it and check the voltage at the battery with it running.
That shop is just screwing you around.

sounds like the shop doesn't know what they are doing to me (is it a shop, or a guy in his garage?)
