My 83 d150 can't pass inspection unless I get my core support sorted. It's currently rusted through and really barely there at the moment, at least the bits directly under the radiator. My searching hasn't been super fruitful and my mechanic is currently trying to track one down, but does anyone have any idea where I might be able to find the core support for my truck? New or good condition used?

Anyone ever use any of the part finding services like qualityautoparts.com with any luck?

 

I used to work for the original qualityautoparts.com we searched salvage yards, the new company is from overseas, and doesn't have a great reputation. Use car-part.com (was the database we used) the problem is finding one in better shape than yours
