Default Brake warning indicator light

Hey, I'm new to this forum, but I was hoping that you people might be able to offer some help. I have a 1990 Dodge Ram truck. The brake warning indicator lights came on, and i have since had the brake lines replaced, but the indicator lights will not shut off. is this a common problem, and is there a fix for it?
Thanks

Are you referring to the ebrake light that is center top of the dash warning lights? If so, it could very well be the switch just above the ebrake pedal. My light sticks on every once in a while, and I have to crawl under there and readjust the metal tab so it compresses and releases at the right point.

Check the fluid level too? Brake cylinders and calipers for leaks as well?

crawl under your truck, driver side fraim rail on the inside there is the metering block. there should be something that looks like a ground strap with a rubber weather cover over the end plugged in it. un plug that and see if the light goes off... if so you got a line issue, if not then let me know

mine came on after i had to lock the brakes up to avoid hitting a idiot in a nissan titan who decided to dart across four lanes of traffic to make an illegal turn is there anything i should look for? i rebuilt the rear drums and replaced both the front and intermediate parking brake cables and replaced the connector

Both the ABS, and brake warning lights (On the dash) stay on.

Default Brake light problem

Check the speed sensor in the rear end or the speed sensor wire,. That was my problem in my 1992 Ram W150.
