My dad found a 1993 Shortbed 4x4 5 spd 318 and he wants me to trade my 1985 Shortbed 2wd automatic 318 for it an I want to but the grill is busted and I was wondering If I could put the grille sorrowing that's on mine on it and it will match up right or if it needs fenders I've also got a hood I know I'll also need new headlights and turn signal lights but is that all I'll need

You'll need to change the radiator support. If you don't, the headlights won't
line up correctly in the headlight bezel openings.

The timing being off won't cause the motor to have any spark , just a spark at the wrong time.
Start at the beginning. When is the last time the cap and rotor were replaced? Does it have spark at the coil?
