youd have to be more specific , is the truck getting a good spark, is it getting adequate fuel? you could do the hillbilly spark test by pulling the number one cyl. plug out and remotely cranking the starter by jumping the solenoid and watch to see if you have any spark

Default This will help

What you need to do Is find the red wire that runs from ur ballast resistor on the driver side firewall. The red wire will run into a single connection that looks similar to an aux cord. Disconnect it and cut the male connection. Attach a wire to the positive of the battery and connect the wire to the male connection from the ballast resistor. Then run a wire to the positive wire on the coil. Then you take the 2 wire and run them through the hole in the fire wall. In you dash above ur radio there should be a few remove able black plastic rectangles. Remove one and cut a hole for the toggle switch. Run your wires into the toggle switch then replace the plastic piece into the dash. Now the toggle switch will look much more professionall. After this is done you need to listen carefully. Turn the toggle switch on to start the vehicle. Do not turn it off until you are done driving. Even if u turn of the key it will stay running until you cut the switch. Now this is important make sure when ur done driving the switch is off. If you leave it on for long periods of time without the truck running it will burn the coil.

Needs: 1 toggle switch.
2 a box of assorted connectors
3 a role of good wire.
4 an electrical tester
5 wire strippers/cutters
6 adjustable wrench
7 electrical tester
