hi my 1979 d100 1/2 has 8 lug wheels its the adventure se was this normal
for that truck having problems buying front end parts wheel bearings show up for 5 lug only on most auto part websites or ask for axle weight of 3300 to 4000 makes it hard to find parts has anyone else had this problem.

 

I have a similar problem, on the other end of that scale. My truck is a w350 but has the front axle that was under the w250.


In answer to your question though, no, I have not seen an 8 lug half ton. Chevy used to (still?) build what they called the "Heavy half ton" which had beefier leafs and brakes. I don't think the lug count changed though.
