My '91 w150 has the maintenance light illuminated. I bought it that way because I had read that it is just a reminder and not an actual problem. I am just wondering how it is I turn it off. I have looked and can't seem to figure it out.
Please help, that light drives me crazy.

 

I am sure the light is an emissions service reminder which comes on every 50k to 60k miles. My understanding when mine came on was that dealers were the only ones that could turn off the light. I just pulled the bulb.
