I have a 89 318 out of a w150 that dropped a rod and have found a replacement 318 out of an 1985. Will I bee able to swap out the carb intake on the 85 and run the TBI set up on my current engine. The 85 is out of car, so I will need to change the oil pan and pick up tube, but will I need to change anything additional to run TBI. The 85 has a mechanical fuel pump and I will be running and electric fuel pump to supply the TBI set up. Anything other than these few things should be a direct swap correct. Any help or anything I missed would be great. Thanks

 

Look at what style distributor is in the 85, If you have the duel pick up style use the one from the 89.
