Question Hedman Headers! anyone installed them?

Got an 87 W100 (4x4) and according to summit racing these headers "Hedman Street Headers 79170" full length fit the w100 but I have been burned by them before so just wondering if anyone has installed these on 4x4 1st gen tucks and if they actually fit and have clearance!

I used Flowtech headers on my 85 w150 with a 360. summit part number 13500flt they fit fine but we did have to change the starter to make them work, apparently first gen dodges came with a big starter or a smaller version mine had the big and they wont fit with that. make sure to plug the holes in the head that the pollution control system uses as the headers won't cover them. have fun!

Back when i build my power wagon motor no one made full length headers for it except Mopar Performance. They fit for the most part, had to cut a small section out of the frame for clearance. Not sure if they even make then anymore but you may want to take a look. Seems all headers need bit of massaging. Also go direct to the manufacture and see instead of what summit says.

geez, you had to cut things to make headers from dodge fit Moparite? I massaged nothing to make my headers fit, you kind of have to install the starter and the header at the same time but really if my truck woulda came outta the factory w the smaller starter i wouldn't have had to change anything. the flowtech's are cheap too so I assumed the more expensive ones would fit the same. mine are full lenght as well.

The one header tubes hit the frame when installed so i just cut about 1/4 inch out of the frame for clearance. All headers are welded on a jig and if everything is not aligned 100% it will cause problems when you go to install.
