Default Starting problem

My truck runs fine but when it gets cold it starts to run bad. When I wake up every morning to crank my truck up in 30 degree weather it has trouble. 1st crank it won't start , 2nd crank it'll crank up rev up then cut off. And I have to constantly keep doing it for about 5 minutes. Each crank it'll run a little longer before shutting off. And it'll eventually run after about 5 minutes. But when I get to driving it doesn't have a problem. It's only trying to warm it up. It only does this in the winter. Whats the problem, a y help ??

Try a tune up first, Cap (oem style-brass inserts) rotor, plugs, & wires. if it has issues trying to idle the iac may be on it's way out.

The more info you can provide upfront prevents this endless back and forth requesting information about the vehicle in question. Do yourself a favor and add your vehicle info to your signature. It then shows up in every post so we can focus on your problem and not trying to figure out exactly what you drive.
