Default Crank no start 1991 LE 150

I have a 1991 le150 TBI manual transmission 4x4 .This problem has happened randomly for several months but while troubleshooting it would start working. Anyways now it seems to have broken for good.after parking it in the evening it would not start the next day crank no start. Looks like I have a moment of fire to coil and fuel pump but nothing while cranking. I have replaced the asd relay Where what do i need to try next. Thanks in advance anything and all will be greatly appreciated

Do you hear the fuel pump prime the system when you first turn the key? Did you try pouring some gas down the tb?

The pump does not stay running when you turn the key. It will remain off until the engine fires up once it primes the system. It may be your iac also, Do you hear it when you turn the key? Try giving it some throttle next time you start it.

I did pull the wire off of the coil and I am not getting fire. What is the iac. I do hear something in the area of the tb when I turn the key to the on position?

Good possibility that you have a bad distributor pick up (hall effect switch). NAPA part # is mp827. Pretty easy to replace. Google hall effect switch for testing. Hope this helps. newtjr
