86' W150 will idle but stalls when I give it gas

I've got an 86' dodge W150 with a 360 ci V8 witha Rochester Quadrajet carb. i can turn it over and itll idle just fine but when i give it gas it will die. i can keep my foot on the gas to keep it running but as soon as i takee my foot off the gas it will die. any ideas would be great.
