I have a 1995 Dodge Ram 1500 V8 5.9L. I'm having trouble trying to figure out how to install the front fuel tank strap. It's kind of a tight fit and I just cannot seem to figure the best way to get it installed. If anyone has any suggestions or tips and tricks of the trade, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

 

You posted in the first gen section. The top of the strap is shaped like a "T" and fits in on side of the tank. You have to move the tank away from it some so you can install it. Try moving the strap sideways it goes in easier that way. You will need to support the tank, I used a floor jack and a piece of wood.
