Smile carburetor

Just purchased a 84 w150with the318 engine. We live in Colorado so it needs to pass th emissions test. It needs a new carburetor to pass, the one that is on it is not the proper carb according to the State.
Is the stock carburetor a "feed back" carburetor? I do see a two lead wiring harness laying close to the carb......could it be for an electric choke?
Did these trucks have 02 sensors?
Other than that it runs pretty good and has some rust issues that need attention (rusted out drivers floor pan).
Hope to hear from somebody soon.

84 is OBD1. Should have electric choke and at least a pre-cat O2 sensor. I've been bit by this situation before. Always best to make sure a vehicle is emissions compliant before purchase.
