Default 1st Gen Ram Wire Diagrams

So I think this should be a permanent post. It took me months of scrubbing the internet, but I finally found a set of First gen Wire Diagrams that give all wire color codes for ALL components, unlike Chiltons and other manuals that don't break down ignition switches and so on. I know they are accurate for my 86 for most wires (some components not installed on my truck), and I know the ignition wires match my setup which is what I have been looking for forever. I am not 100% sure how many years they apply to for first gen trucks, but it is better than nothing and should help A LOT of people out on here. I know they helped me more than I can express in words.

Default colors not matching

none of the wire coloring on these seems to match for my 86 d250, from what ive looked at so far all the wiring seems to be the same though

Move noticed this with some wires on my 86 W150 as well. For the most part though with this I was able to at least deduce what the wires are for and where they need to go(e.g. Fuse panel, then to a breaker or relay then to a light or whatever). Something is better than nothing though. I never would have gotten my truck wires back up without this.

Default Where to begin

This is my first time posting in such a forum. Sorry if this is the wrong place for this question. Also, I am by no means a mechanic, and am fumbling through this process with the help of my handy Haynes manual. Had my 85 Power Ram since 1996. Iwent the better part of 15 years without getting any love. I switched out the gauge cluster years ago for another factory model I got at a parts yard. Now none of the gauges work. NONE, except the speedo. Don't know where to start, how to tell where the problem lies. I changed out the engine temperature switch today...had no affect on anything.

Anyone able to point me in the right direction?

Thanks

Very much appreciated! 1982 d150 shorted wires, whole dash wire looks like burnt spaghetti.
