I have a 89 dodge d100 with a 318 TB. It runs fine on summer days but when it gets in the 45 degrees or lower , it takes like 10 cranks to crank it up. It cranks each time but cuts off. Each crank it'll stay on a little longer then cut off, so it'll take about 10 cranks to have it running on its own. Is it normal because it's an old truck or is there something I can do to fix it ?
When was the last time it had a tune up? If you give it throttle when cranking will it start then?
About 2k miles ago. It cranks but cuts off right after. If I hold the throttle it'll Rev but when i left off it'll stall
It's a pain cranking up when cold but after its warmed up , it runs great. It just has a problem cranking every morning during the winter
