I have a 1988 dodge d100 with a 5.2 I have been fighting with a starting issue for almost a year .... first I replaced the starter out the gate...it was really old..... then I replaced two grounds one from battery to body and the other from engine to firewall... they were causing no start when at operating temperature... then my lock cylinder stopped working didn't recognize there was a key at all so I replaced that everything was fine for about a month then today after work I go to start it up and when I turn the key nothing nothing at all... but oth the turn signal lights on the dash were on... idk why... so for fun sake I put my hazards on they flashed as normal and the buzzer was going then try to start and a loud buzzing from one of the relays on drivers side fender closest to the front of the truck but still no crank... please help asap .... idk what else to do... I got the truck home by running jumper cables from battery to starter with much luck got it fired up with the key turned lol again please help asap trying to move need the pickup

 

Does the starter relay click when you turn the key to the crank position?
What about a ground strap from the battery to the block?

 

Your good dude the whole darn time it was the ground to the front of the block
