If I buy a 50 Chrysler I will be looking for a donor truck to supply the drivetrain so was there any made that had a non computer controlled automatic o/d trans,when it comes to vehicles that new I am more familiar with Ford and GM and never messed with Chrysler products that new.

 

You can use an A-518 or A-500 depending on what you plan on putting in front of it. You can get a kit from the link below to work the od with out manually turning it on while driving.
