1990 w150 no oil pressure

It has always Had a slight tick from what sounds like a lifter but other than that it sounds fine it's got a fresh 5qts of oil and it's never had any leaks

I even pulled a rod cap and the bearings still look new but when I took the pan off the bottom had a metallic look to it but thats probably from no oil pressure

I would double check theck the pump manuly cranking it with the pickup tube in a pan of oil to make sure its actually pumping correctly

Well pulled the pan and put the pump in the pan and it pumps good i also double check to see if the shaft turns with the engine any ideas?

When it was rebuilt where all the oil gallery plugs removed? If so maybe one was left off and just letting the oil drain back into the pan. I think there are two in front of the block.

They were both put back in it's been 10k since last rebuilt and it's been good till just last week could they fall out?

have you checked with a mechanical gauge?
