Default 1984 w350 questions

Hey y'all,

I have a 1984 w350. On the rear diff it says "60" I assume for dana 60? Or is it spicer 60? Also on the diff tag it reads 411. I assume for 4:11 gearing? Did dodge use 4:11 gearing? I thought they only used 3:90 and 4:10 gears in the one tons. If it is 4:11 dana 60, how much can I tow with it safely? I don't have a manual and can't find anything on tow capacity for that year.

Thanks in advance,

Billy

it is possible that it has the 4.10/4.11 gears but i don't think they would have commonly been used. sometimes it says on the tag on the doorjamb what gears are in the truck or sometimes there is a sticker on the underside of the hood that gives the trucks specs.

Okay well I looked at the tag again and it looks like it might have been broken. Its only like an inch to an inch and a half long. But the only numbers on it are 411. What were the common gear ratios for that year? I know usually the tags will say how many teeth are on the pinion and ring gear.
