overcharging

Default overcharging

I have an 85 Dodge Ram that's overcharging I have already changed the alternator the voltage regulator and the battery and I have even wired alternator straight to the battery and is still overcharging any ideas

have you double checked to make sure the voltage regulator case is grounded good? also have you check to make sure the voltage regulator and the 1 field wire are getting proper battery voltage with the key in the run positions? probably best to start here. if the voltage regulator of field wire are not seeing exactly what the alternator is putting out it could cause it to over charge things.
