Just purchased 85 w150 royal se. Is there a replacement available for a missing lower tailgate support? Looks like a flattened pipe.

 

no one sells any as far as i know. 1 side is round and the other is flattened to the tailgate can be installed and removed easily. fords have ones that just bolt on but i am not sure if they would work with a dodge or not. worst case scenario you could just weld some pipe to the box where it is needed. my dad did that on his ford instead of buying the proper replacement parts.
