Unhappy Engine Swap HELP!!! 1993 5.9 Magnum (Auto) to an NP435 4-speed

I have a 1985 W150 with a 318 and NP435. I got a $500 5.9 Magnum that was connected to a 727 I think.

I have done a bit of research after I noticed the Crank Sensor is a ring where my flywheel needs to go, and I've heard a few thinks that I can do. Can anyone confirm anything???

1. I can buy a custom flywheel that is balanced AND has cut-outs for the sensor
2. I can somehow tie the signal from the crank sensor to be sent from the low voltage side of the ignition system
3. I can re-program or get a 1993 5.2 magnum manual-transmission computer to run my engine off of.

Thank you for any info you can provide

You can mod the magnum motor to run with a carb and a distributor. That way you don't need the crank sensor.

I would really like to keep it EFI so I can keep the benefits of EFI. Going back to carb is kind of last resort.

the truck is a 1985, but the motor is a 1993 5.9 magnum. Multi-port EFI

I really don't know much about the standard trucks but I would guess you might need a flywheel custom modified to work for what you need. You can get a 5.9 magnum flywheel but I have no clue if it will work with the np435 or if it can be modified to work with that clutch. Might have to upgrade to a nv4500 and hydraulic clutch setup it keep standard but I think that even requires some holes in the firewall being moved around and some new ones being made in the right spots

Thanks for taking the time to read this. I hope I can figure something out.
