Default shifter ****
I have a 1987 dodge d150 auto column shifter, I would like to replace the **** but cannot seem to be able to find how to remove the existing one, can anyone help

I don't think it is designed to come off. At least, not without breaking it. It's not threaded on, so, putting something else on there is going to be problematic.
