1990 b150 crank no start
hey all, looking for some other starting points. i recently bought a 1990 with 3.9/5 speed that "needed a wiring harness". i found out that the coil caught fire and checked the wiring harness and found that just the sleeve was burnt and the wires inside were good and not discolored or burnt. i replaced the coil, plugs and wires, cap and rotor,(cause they were charred) computer and ignition relay (was bulged out). im still getting no power to the coil. have i missed anything?
Thanks in advance!
Thanks in advance!
welp i found the issue, there is a 3 wire round plug by the distributor that was burnt and i didnt see had disconnected itself i put the harness on slightly just to see if it would work and she fired right up. made some horrible noises until the oil started circulating (she was a barn find and hadnt run in a "few years") all this to find out that the one of the headgaskets are blown. ugh looks like a engine swap is in next
