+1 on wider tires lol. I'm prolly gonna get a set of dot approved drag radials. These 235/75r15s are way too skinny for my 9" wheels lol. They were a bear to get the beads to seat, but I was lacking funds at the time I needed tires. I'm gonna switch the left and right sides, and when they are both wore out I'll get the drag radials lol.

lol i liked the way 10.5" wide tires looked on my 93. my 81 has 255/50r15's on it when i bought it and they looked pretty mean even tho they were a bit short lol.

It's hard to find a wider tire without sacrificing the height of the sidewall. I lowered the front with a 50 series tire lol. It has the old school muscle car stance with the back higher than the front.

I need street tires though lol. My truck is a D series.

look at the front of that truck. it is a d series also lol. i know the 4x4's didn't come with independent front suspension lol. it does have a locker tho. gets good traction

Lol, the two wheel drives will almost go where a 4x4 will with a locker. Yeah to old for the ifs. I got a truck for the mud, this is just a toy for the street.
