Default 1972 W200 727 help

I broke the Low/reverse band on my 72 w200. Instead of paying the local shop $2800 again I decided to fix it myself........ I ordered a heavy duty kit off ebay, ya I know.... Transtec DP2027 for the TF 71 and up.

Well everything has gone fairly well so far I have 2 tranny books and was reassembling and discovered that the new low band is about 3/16" too big for the low/reverse drum..... The drum measures 6". I am stuck until monday when I can contact the company, or order another band.......

Anyone have any better ideas?

I have the 727A. Found the problem. I was shipped a band for the 6.25 drum. I have the 6" drum.
