Exclamation Engine Problems

Have any of you guys out there had the problem where your truck (with the 5.9) engine just cuts out while your driving. I already replaced my fuel filter because it wasn't getting enough gas but it still does it. Or at least that's what I though. Anything could help. For reference I have a 1990 Power Ram W150 with the 360, throttle body injection.

You need to determine what you are loosing fuel or spark. It may not be cutting out if the idle motor is going bad, It just lets the engine die without raising the idle speed. Any codes?

I figured out it was a spark issue got it running good for about 3 weeks. Then the distributor lost power and now it's off an on whether it will work and all the wiring diagrams I find tell me it leads to the ecu but I thought I found the wire in the black box behind the glove box but I'm not sure. Because all the other research I've done says the ecu is right next tot he battery. I don't know anything else beyond this.
