I have a 92 dodge w150 with the 318 Od 4x4 and was told that it was the 46rh transmission.

I found a 90 ramcharger 318 od 4x4 with the 518 trans.

Will the ramcharger trans fit in my w150?

 

I think its the same trans, just different nomenclature.

 

are they sure it is a 518 and not a 500? you may also want to see if it as a 2 or 3 pin overdrive connector. there is a chance it may be a early setup without lockup torque converter. there is also a chance the bell housing may not be notched for a crank position sensor. either way it should probably fit.
