OK. If you think it'll work, I'll give it a shot.
I would think a comp they'd be pretty much the same as long as you
got the right engine size, tranny and emissions.

i think the only difference is that the 91 may have had overdrive and 90 it may have not been an option yet.

The overdrive was an option in 89 and i think it stayed that way until the second gens.

but not in a d250. i don't believe they had the 46RH till 91. before that they only had the 42RH which is a light duty transmission which would have likely met a very quick death in a d250 with a 360.

Just got the ECM back that I'd sent in for repair.
I'd replaced it about 3 or 4 years back.
It has 7573 engraved on the back.
Cardone # 79-7573 is for a '91. I'm feeling better about the one I just bought.

A500, A518 and A618 where used back then. Basically the same as the 46/7RH.

you clearly don't know much about transmissions if you think a a500 is the same as a a518. they are not the same. the a500(42RH) is a weaker version of the. you put a weak transmission behind a engine in a heavy truck and you are just asking for it to fail which is why they continued to use the 727 in the heavier trucks till they made the a518
