Default Rust on driver's side front wheel arch, B250 1984

Hi all, just noticed that there's quite a lot of rust on just one of my wheel arches, photo attached. Do I need to worry about this in terms of the safety of the car? What would be the best way to go about getting it fixed? I'm in the middle of a long trip right now so if it can wait till I'm home that's the main thing.

no it is not a safety concern. it is just an inner fender.

Thanks, that's reassuring. I can also see this slightly frayed looking cable/wire there. I don't think it's the brake line (I think that's to the left on the picture).

Any idea what that is? My best guess is an ABS sensor wire, but a little worried as it seems a bit exposed.

Ah, thank very much again - I've taken another picture that's much more clear. Should we worry about the fraying?

that is not fraying. that is just the wire wrap or split loom that has broken. the wire inside is for the brake warning system if for some reason the brakes become unbalance(usually a leaking brake line, cylinder or caliper)
