Default Acceleration problem

I have a 1988 Dodge Ram d100 with a TB and an a904 tranny when I punch it from a dead stop the truck jerks real bad and sometimes knocks itself into neutral. I recently replaced the shift linkage bushings and that helped a little but it still does all the jerking idk what to do to fix it

I have just recently replaced all of those except for the pcv valve and I’m not for sure if my spark plug wires are the right ones through oreillys it says that they are but they don’t seat in properly I don’t think

That could be a problem. If they aren't seating correctly, they may not fire the plugs reliably.

do you think I should replace the pcv valve first before I make an investment in new plug wires

Is the cap new as well? If it is, and the wires don't fit properly, then one of them is wrong....... Think I would look at that for the performance problem. PCV valve doesn't have much of an affect there, just a maintenance item.
