Default 1990 dodge fuel injection question

I recently purchased a project 1990 d150 and am looking for fuel injection system recommendations if anyone has them. not looking for any $3,000 killer performance but something quality to add some quick performance, I was going to go with a four barrel carburetor and was told that fuel injection was the way to go, so if anyone could help that would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

what exactly do you want from it and what is the budget. could spend $1500-2000 easily converting to aftermarket fuel injection. $1000 for the system and a bunch of money for all the other crap you will need to make it work.

but you can't change the cam with factory TBI and it still leaves a lot to be desired performance wise.

might be worth buying a used 318 magnum and starting with it.
