Transfer Case shifter hitting dash

I am not certain what TC it is. It does look similar to yours. It is 2wd forward... which is different than my 1-ton.
It likely is the wrong plate... though I cant say if the plate goes with the TC or the transmission.
It looks like I can make it work, just one more PITA i have to deal with.
Tried to install my rear DS today... about an inch and a half too long... cant win.
Also found ATF leaking between the trans and the TC. Fun times...

I like to provide some closure...
I went back to the gent I bought the RC from. He gave me the shift plate that was on his transmission. The mounting plate for the shifter is definitely different than mine. 10 minutes it took to swap it out and now the shifter sits exactly where it should, and doesn't hit the dash. Glad I got that sorted out. Thanks for the help guys.
