Default Updated compressor

Has anyone updated a York AC compressor in an 80's first gen truck to Sanden or other and if so, what worked? Thanks

It will work and has been done in plenty of vehicles. You need to understand what the difference is in using 134a instead of R12. Oil that was used for R12 is not compatable with 134a so you need to clean it out of the system before updating.

That would depend on your specific application and if you can get brackets and a drive pulley for it.
