Default Lowering kit?

I have a ‘92 w150 that I want to do a suspension overhaul on. Saw a YouTube video of a guy that bought a whole lowering kit from Belltech for his ‘95 Chevy but I couldn’t find a kit for my truck on their website. Does anybody else make a good lowering kit for these things? Looking for maybe 4-6 inches of drop

i really don't get what type of racing you would plan on doing that you would need a lowered 4x4 dodge. if you got enough money you could always custom build a frame like a trophy truck but that is not cheap. most racing i can think of would be best done with a d150 which can be lowered slightly

Well the truck that I have has sentimental value, was owned by a family member that passed. I got it running after it had been sitting for a few years and have been using it as a daily when my mustang has problems. Long story short I had planned on Coyote swapping my mustang but that isn’t going to happen anymore. I wanted to do something cool with the truck and thought maybe I could figure out how to jam a Coyote under the hood. But I figured if I’m going to try to make this thing a race truck it would be good to lower it and it needs new suspension anyway so I wanted to try to do that soon.

It’s a crazy idea but i thought it’d be pretty badass if I could figure it out.

I again have to shake my head and ask WHY someone would want to lower one of tehse trucks. Makes NO sense.
Want to lower it? USE it, as the truck it is, it lowers from weight carried. when done goes back to where it is. Done.

I’ll do what I like with my truck, but thank you for your concern. I have to ask why you feel the need to berate people who want to do something to their vehicle that you don’t? If you don’t like lowered trucks, maybe don’t click on the threads that talk about lowering trucks.

going to try to make this thing a race truck
How many times do we need ask what kind of race truck? I think a 4 link conversion would be the way to go. You can set it up for what type of racing you plan on.

A drag truck. I want to put Hoosiers on the rears and skinnies up front and run a 9 second pass.

you don't have to lower a truck to make it into a drag truck.

i don't mind lowered as long as it is not too low. it took 3600lbs to make my truck sit like this. i have considered removing a couple leaf springs and adding air bags so i could keep the look while also keeping the haul capacity. now saying that don't try hauling a load like this with a stock truck. my trucks rear springs are not stock.
