Default 1st Gen- 92 W250 VE Pump Rebuild DFW Recommendations

Good afternoon,

The information and instructionals on rebuilding the VE Fuel Injector Pump are fantastic but unfortunately I do not have the time to rebuild one myself. So I have opted to remove it and send it off, or simply take it to a mechanic.

My intention is to keep the original instead of buying a new one. Yet the prices range anywhere from @$600- $1300. Does anyone have a recommendation or thoughts on this? While budget is an issue, I am not looking for the cheapest deal just solid service at a reasonable price

This would be a great project for my son and I to do together, yet time is at issue because I've loaned it to him to drive to school and baseball practice

Thanks

Yes, I suppose though I have not seen them quite that cheap. Is that with the core replacement?
My preference would be to have mine rebuilt which again ranges anywhere from @$600-@$1300

What I am looking for is source recommendations for rebuild. Buying a rebuilt one is fairly evident in terms of sources but /have not seen them that cheap

have you already removed it? if it is working like it should i would just leave it alone. they can be a pain to remove and re-install. also if you must get it rebuilt you should see about getting it done by a shop that willing to throw the 3300rpm spring in for you.
