Default Ram Tire Question

Hey guys! I’m looking to upgrade my wheels and tires on my ‘93 Ram W150 4x4. I currently am running BFGoodwrench 33x12.50R15’s and I’m looking to upgrade the tires and increase the rim size to 17”. I’m looking at the Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT but I’m not sure what tire size I should go with. Is the LT305/70R17 too big? Thoughts?

LT305/70R17 is only slightly taller than your 33/15's. The math works out to 33.8.
