Default Need help Fuel Tank

Thanks ahead of time.

I am having a time trying to find a fuel tank for a 89 W150. Does anyone know of where I should be looking? Looking for my step father as he wants to replace his with a new one, his is leaking.

www.car-part.com

Plastic fuel tanks are usually not made aftermarket because they basically last forever.

when I took the tank off the first time, i installed a new fuel pump. That pump lasted a month, the problem isn't with the tank it's the 3 plastic nipples that broke off while lowering the tank down onto the ground, so i bought another tank with good plastic nipples on it and after 3 months I don't remember where any of the plastic lines go.

I somehow broke all 3 plastic nipples that are on the rear of the tank trying to drop it down to put in a new fuel pump, so I had to buy another tank with the nipples in tacked, now after laying in bed for 3 months I can't figure out what lines go where onto the new tank.

Stuart.
