Off the top of my head I'm going to say 3.23, 3.55, or 3.92, but there could be something close to 3:1 as well.

Probably a 3.92 then. My 86 is pretty quick all things considered. It's faster than my 02 somehow. They both weigh about the same, the 02 has much less wind resistance, much lighter/smaller tires, and much higher compression and better heads, but it's also choked with emissions crap, tiny exhaust, and a stock cam. If it wasn't for the 100k warranty I'd do something about it.

I am about to replace my rear end and i was looking for some 3.92's for it, anyone know a place (other than going through every dodge in the scrap yard) for them? After market or used, i am just lookin for some, the cheaper the better though...

What's the tallest gearing I can put in one of these? See my signature for the details.

tall gear = numerically low gear ratio = high top speed, slow accelleration

I'm going to assume you don't want that. Randy's has some up to 4.88, OEM rings only go up to 4.10 though.
