Default 1st gen/2nd gen hubs interchangeable? (2wd)

Hey guys I'm having a really hard time finding information on the 2wd version of the Cummins(4000lb front axle) so I wanted to open a new thread. Has anyone tried putting 2nd gen front hubs on these 1st gen trucks? I want to get 9/16 studs, but the proper knurl size for the factory 1st gen rotor/hub assembly is discontinued for 9/16. All first gens had 1/2 inch studs except the 1 tons on the rear they had 5/8. Mine is a 3/4 ton and the 2nd gen 4000lb axle rotor/hub assembly is like completely identical only things different are the 9/16 studs and I can't seem to find one without abs which these first gen trucks don't have front wheel abs. Although I don't think that matters much. I have thought about going down to napa picking one up and bringing it back home to plug and play then returning it if I don't think it's going to work out. Edit: 1 tons have 5/8 all around

I read a thread somewhere once about swapping on 2wd f250 rotors. Something about a mix n match bearings. Can't find it again, and also have not tried it yet. Still something I want to check one day.

It may have the potential for a new hub source along with being 9/16" studs.

there isn't anything like that on these 2wd trucks on YouTube they're very rare and before YouTubes time so it can be hard to find a lot of questions with these trucks on there. I found my answer in a group that I'm in though so all good.
