Water temp gauge issues

really depends on you how good you are with wiring. on 1 vehicle i removed the stock gauge sensor installed the new one and ran a wire from the gauge to it. on my other vehicle i removed the stock temp gauge wire from the instrument cluster connector and ran a short jumper wire from it to the aftermarket gauge. in this case i left the stock sensor in place since it would be way too tricky to get at with the a/c compressor in the way. since both gauges work the same it worked perfect but actually told you what is going on.
