I have a 85 dodge d150 with a 318 LA, and behind it is a a727 automatic transmission. I want to swap it with a nv3500 from a 2001 Dodge Ram with a 5.2l V8 how would I go about this never manual swapped anything before

 

I suspect you'll want the 89-93 hydraulic clutch pedal assembly to make things easiest. Flywheel (LA 318 balance). Hopefully the 2001 clutch fits. Locate and modify the trans crossmember to work. Shorten/lengthen the driveshaft as needed.
