I have a 1986 Dodge Ram D250 with the 5.9L 360 V8 with I think the TF8/727 transmission stock quadrajet carb. emissions removed
I’d like to see what kind of power upgrades I can do to it because as of right now it’s barely enough to get out of its way with a 0-60 of 16 sec… truck runs like a dream… just need some more power thanks in advance

 

Carbed or fuel injected? I think these guys barely made over 200HP from the factory..... and the emissions controls sure didn't help either.

 

Oh yeah I forgot to mention that… stock quadrajet car and I have removed all emissions from the motor

 

Headers, free flowing exhaust system, better intake manifold, perhaps a better carb? From there, you will have to go into the engine..... better heads, larger valves, higher compression, etc.
