I have a 1987 Dodge W250 Dana 44 front axle with axle disconnect. The right spindle has a roller bearing and the left spindle has a spacer (no roller bearing). Does anyone know the part number and where I can purchase a spacer? Someone installed a roller bearing in the left spindle and it is all chewed up.
Parts specific to our CAD front axles aren't really supported. May have to find a used one.... which may lead you a whole diff, possibly an older non-cad unit. Then you can mix n match parts and use a normal bearing on the spindle.
The bearing spacer is in the spindle. Since there is a bearing at the end of the axle tube, they eliminate the bearing in the spindle. The spacer is used to support / position the seal.
