The truck is a 1987 Dodge W250 with a 318 engine. There is a vacuum line to the valve mounted on the air pump. The vacuum line on my truck looks like it has been cut. I am trying to find out where that vacuum line should be attached. Any help would be appreciated.
Find an open vacuum port and put a cap on it. Unless you have visual emissions testing, it's just sitting there. Personally, I'd take the belt off it and leave it in place. Removing it is against the law.
