Sliding window handle adhesive

What’s the best adhesive for gluing the handle back on the sliding window. I was thinking of using GOOP.

That looks like a job for urethane. Not too many solvent type glues will bite glass. Smear a little on some glass. If you can easily scrape or chip it off.......

Probably the adhesive used for mounting a rear view mirror to the windshield - I believe O'Reillys and others have this adhesive as I seem to remember buying some not too long ago -
