Hello,

We have an 1986 W150 5.2L with a broken seat belt. It's doesn't lock when pulled. I'm unsure how to remove the cover and I don't want to break it by forcing. I've removed the screw at the top but it's hanging up at the bottom, attached is a pic.

Anyone with experience with this a heads up would be great. I've tried pushing the metal tab in, and pulling the cover up and down, but it's still not detaching

It *looks* like you should just push it up from the bottom there, to get that tab to release????

 

I got it off. Just removed the small screw at the top and pushed the top part of the cover towards the center of the cab. The cover hangs up on the ratching device, so a little tug is needed.
