Default How to determine Heavy Duty for new shocks?

Hello,
I looked on the forum for the answer without success.
I have a "93 D250 2 WD with the 6 cylinder motor.
How do I determine if it's a Heavy Duty Package?
I need to install new shocks front and back, that seems to be a question asked.
Any recommendations for replacement shocks for lightly used, go to the dump or hardware store truck?
Thanks,
Art

You could try and run your vin here..... It'll tell ya your truck is too old, but, still, might work, worth a shot.

You can look up your truck on the Rancho web site, If there is a difference between the two it will list it in the length. Then compare with what you have.

Check the door jamb sticker for the front GAWR. 3830-4000# is heavy duty, and only really seen on the D250 when it's a 6cyl Cummins diesel.

Front shocks are longer for the HD vs regular.
