Default light issue

my 87 has roll bars on it with lights on the top... for some reason only one light works, i replace the bulb and then flip the switch, and one of the lights blows, but the other works, is it possible that i need thicker gauge wire? what would be a recomended course of action?

Default RE: light issue

Usually when bulbs or fuses blow its because of improper wiring or shorts in the system. Test you wiring with a test light to make sure that everything is hooked up right, and look for worn out wires touching any metal surface.
